Come Out Fighting was kind enough to answer our Q&A.

Q: What’s your approach to writing a song?

A: songs have come about in many different ways. there are times where we can all be jamming together at practice and we come across a good riff and we build off that. Other times a member will write out a song on there own, and then show it to the band, then the rest of the us will come together with our own parts. Jose and Brian always leave a guitar out around there homes so the can write when inspiration hits.

Q: What is your overall goal for the future of your music?

A: To create music that people can relate to and hopefully inspire them also.

Q: What things inspire you?

A: Friends, Family, Music, Events, People, Politics. A lot of things really inspire us.

Q: How do you feel about the music industry today?

A: Like everything it has been tainted by greed all around. At times it feels like it is no longer about music but about image and creating icons, not good music. But we will continue to push on and get our music to as many people as possible.

Q: Who’s currently rocking your world as a producer/artist/group and why?

A:  The Business they are a english punk band who have been really inspiring me as of late. Come Back Kid: they are always great to listen to. they have a great mix of the hardcore and punk genres. enter shikari- adding the new electronic sound to hardcore and doing it right. bad religion- being a relevent punk band for over 30 years and all still having “real lives” in music thats the dream.

Q: What is the prognosis for the music industry: terminal decline or steady recovery?

A: Like everything it has to hit bottom before it can be rebuilt but now its a time where this type of music we play can be back on the raise. So its only a matter of time.

Q: Give some advice or daily motivation to your fans and people reading this,

A: Be who you are. love and take care of your friends and family, because nothing else really matters in this world.
