From a young age, Mike has always had the desire to express his creative side, which led to a passion for film. While still in high school, he started taking the steps necessary to pursue a career in digital media after having an opportunity to design numerous album covers for a local hip-hop group. Mike soon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Design from Baker College – where he also developed a passion for film production. During his time in college, he had a hand in helping to develop and create numerous promotional videos for local establishments – as well as documentary-style videos on Metro Detroit and its history.
After graduating, he has spent most of his time focusing on several personal side projects. By promoting local artists, photographers, and musicians that are native to Detroit, he is able to shine the spotlight on the positive aspects in (and around) the city itself. On top of spotlighting the creative aspect of the local talent, he also elaborates on the overall history of the city itself.
Along with Armand Leal he has started a website dedicated to the revitalization of Detroit. The website focuses on sharing the positive articles that you may have missed, and sharing local photos – the site even features a local business spotlight. You can view that website at Emotion Detroit.
In 2014 he joined the team over at 3am Films based out of Lawton, OK to help with production of season 1 of The Front Desk. Be sure to visit the site link on the right.
He has taken his time to start focusing on 791zero Network and building a a true independent site that brings the best of entertainment.
